Time to get ready for your big New Year's Bash! We can't imagine any New Year's celebration to be complete without...yep, you guessed it....sequins!!!! Normally we aren't big fans of these sparkly little doo- dads, but New Year's is our fabulous exception. So for us, go out and get a dress that will put the disco ball above you to shame!

Her mix of girly and grunge, menswear and vintage skirts, has got us thinking. We admire Alexa Chung's style, so why shouldn't we post that on our blog? As the face of Madewell, Alexa can be found all over the pages of magazines. Our favorite images of her are the ones on the street, where you see her true fashion sense shine.

These beautiful sets of luggage should give you some serenity before braving it all again to make the trek back home.

We had a busy weekend! The Renegade Craft Fair was in town and this time it was holiday specific! We were overjoyed with all the fantastic artists that were there. One of our favorites is Jill Bliss. Her art style is unique and playful and can't help but make us smile. We saw lots of others there as well, including shops that were new to us. Sarah discovered The Harbinger Co. and got this week's Must Have Item, a beautifully crafted honeycomb necklace.

Here's something to do this weekend! Paper mache! Inspired by Anthropologie's ornaments, we thought this would be a great post for a Friday. Paper mache brings back so many wonderful memories as a child. What better time to be nostalgic than the holidays, right?

|Birdie from West Elm|
Here are some more cute ideas for paper mache. If anyone would like to make us a paper mache deer for our wall, please, feel free!

Featured in the Museum and Arts and Design, these images showcase what beautiful and ornate things can be done with using only paper. The first one is a detailed map of an imaginary town, the one below would be great for unique holiday decor, and the last is a depiction of a water city. For more ways artists transformed the everyday product of paper, check out an article by Fast Company.

Over the weekend, we came across Jonathan Adler's manifesto. We love every bit of it. What a great outlook on business and life. Their whimsical character is carried into their products that they offer. Don't you just want to give a bucket of calories to your neighbor? Or how about the playful menagerie ornaments for you aunt? Or how about give it all to us? Yeah, that sounds lovely...
