Terrarium Love

Check out these terrariums! Plants always add life to the room and these are a fabulous step up from the "digs" that they come home from the store in. As you can see, we are still in love with the angles reminiscent of geos and gems. Amazing where you can pull your inspiration from and what you can do with it! Happy Friday!

Gem Love

We are extremely inspired right now by the angles and irregular shapes of "gems." Remember our Natural Beauties post? Well, we thought we would share these images because of how the light hits each one of the sides differently. Also to make them more impressive, the top is an ottoman and the bottom is origami!

Paige Morse Styled Home

We were immediately drawn to the decor of this home and not just because of the beautiful patterns hanging from the walls! Found on the always lovely Design Sponge, Paige Morse's styled home has not only inspired us, but introduced us to her great blog as well. P.S. entomology is one of our many obsessions. Bugs are teeming with design inspiration!

Found in Encens

We recently discovered the fabulous online fashion magazine, Encens. Their editorials or anything but timid. Bold and forward is where it's at. We pulled out this spread because of the incredible juxtaposition of the background, the patterns, and the poses of the models.

Society6

Wesley Bird

David Fleck

If you are an avid reader (which we hope you are), you may remember a post we did called blurred vision featuring artists who mastered painterly, geometric prints. One was found on Society6, a great way for artists to have their work viewed, appreciated, and available to buy on different products. We thought we would revisit this site and feature 2 artists that caught our eye!

Anton Stankowski

We discovered a lot when we visited the site of Aqua Velvet. One of our discoveries was the work of modernist Anton Stankowski. His use of depth and richness of color makes us not want to look away. The last one is our fave. If you like it too, read more about him here.

Chocolate Confections

This weekend was the chocolate festival in San Francisco. Although some of us aren't the biggest fans of the taste, we sure do appreciate great packaging. This sweet treats (to the eyes) were designed by Mary Matson, someone you should definitely check out. Oh, and if you're in the "check out" mood, see here for another post on our love for charts. This edible chart would be a nice addition for sure.
