Trip to ABC

We recently were in New York and of course made a trip to the fabulous everything store of ABC Carpet and Home. While there, we fell in love with these beautiful bird plates. Must have been thinking ahead to Thanksgiving!

This dining area was spotted on Desire To Inspire and we desire to dine here. You know that home improvement commercial where everything in the house comes apart? We love that commercial because it's innovative and there is an awesome song playing. Well, Damian Ortega's installation blows our minds even more. The spacing and precision of his work is astounding. We found these images here.

Val Britton

Val Britton is our latest artist obsession. Her technique somehow manages to come off as chaotic and calming at the same time. When viewing her work, you fall into a state of wonderment. If you would like to stay in that state, you can find more of her art on here.

Color

We pinned this a while back, but are still madly in love with the color combos of this dress. After digging a little further (passed the brilliant site of The Color Collective, that we found it on), we discovered the clothing and accessory label that this frock is a part of. Brook & Lyn. Beautiful quirky, pastel-y colors everywhere! Jackpot.

Loveley Lumber

We are so inspired by the depth of this picture. The positive and negative spaces along with the natural, varying sizes of the wood create such dimension that only nature can create. Here's hoping that this beautiful image was followed by some beautiful new baby trees!

We love the organic shapes that give movement to "La Pedrera". This unique architectural Spanish style was designed in the 50's and is still so inspiring. Found on Miss Moss.

We discovered the fabulous Fall 2011 collection of Lina Rennel via the fabulous blog of Miss Moss. Digging in deeper, we found out that this luxury printed brand is based in our neck of the woods. We love finding new things! Check out more printed frocks from where these came from.
