The Right Geometrics - Textile Design Done Right

Geometric fabrics have to be one of the most striking representations of art in textile design. Geometrics simplify shapes and forms focusing the fabric onto the color balance the artist wishes to achieve. In the world of architecture they'd be comparable to the Wright's houses. As in most design cases, its in its simplicity wherein lies its complexity. Today, I have a fantastic example of a highly successful design from designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. From Conceptual stage to final product this gorgeous rug achieves a beautiful aesthetic quality in its form, shapes, layout and color balance. It looks beautiful both spread out flat and in all iterations of its form. For more information on this product check out the designers site at: http://www.bouroullec.com/
