Le Cuir A Paris textile earlier this month had some fantastic exhibitions showing off ideas that can enhance fabric, especially leather. Here are some of my faves.

I love the shapes within a shape of this briefcase. The shadows the triangles create add to the design!

How the leather of this chair was manipulated creates an amazing effect that almost looks like something you would find in a coral reef.

I love the contrast of the gold metallic paint on the cognac leather. Adds another dimension.

Our Favorites from Playtime NY

Playtime NY, a tradeshow for everything "kid" related, went off without a hitch last week. While we weren't able to go, thanks to their site, we were still able to scout out the brands that were there. Here are a few of our favorites. Sweet and serene frocks in soft colors from Caramel Baby&Child, Playful prints and texture mix-ups from Kico Kids, and artful and comical embroideries from Coral & Tusk.
