Our Favorites from Playtime NY

Playtime NY, a tradeshow for everything "kid" related, went off without a hitch last week. While we weren't able to go, thanks to their site, we were still able to scout out the brands that were there. Here are a few of our favorites. Sweet and serene frocks in soft colors from Caramel Baby&Child, Playful prints and texture mix-ups from Kico Kids, and artful and comical embroideries from Coral & Tusk.

Japanese relief efforts

The devastation in Japan is heart breaking and I know many of us are seeking ways in which we can help. Organizations such as the Red Cross are always taking in donations to help relief disasters such as this one. As designers and artists we can also turn to the new communities built by our friends at Threadless. Make a statement, inspire hope and post your art on their site.
