This is the home of Maya Brenner, an LA jewelry designer. I love the mix of natural elements with pops of bright colors.  The framed Louis Vuitton scarf is beautiful with the logo explosion filling the continents. I think it's a really fun idea. P.S. Read the poem in the bottom picture. Super cute!

Hope everyone had a fun and inspiring labor day weekend. We sure did, and over the break, we stumbled upon another great site full of fantastic goods. The site is called The Vitrine and it showcases the unique. It's a great place to find creative and innovative products for your creative and innovative self.

Pillows from Fenton&Fenton

Pillows...or as they call them, "cushions" from Fenton&Fenton. There's something for everyone, or if you're like us, we like all of them! If you like these as well, check out their store. There is some other pretty nifty things on there from all over the world. You certainly get that vibe on their about page, where we found this lovely collage of prints and patterns.

The Miller House

We felt that this home was so amazing, we we needed to share it's historic and breathtaking past. The J. Irwin Miller house was designed in 1957 by Eero Saarinen and in 2000, made a National Landmark for it's ahead of it's time, modern layout and interior design. This treasured home was inspired by the spacious, clean line look of Japanese architecture and the modernistic views of Mies van der Rohe. There are so many creative elements and details that make this home what it is. What really caught our attention was the blend of colors and textiles that went into the decor of this landmark. "The conversation pit" encompasses the decor throughout the house with it's mix and matching of different textures, colors, and patterns. Alexander Girard was the interior designer, someone we feel like complimented and brought out more of the modern, yet classic clean look that the home was designed to be, (and someone we will be googling to see his other works!) We are so excited that this home is open to the public for tours and up close looks at the touches that make it what it is. Anyone want to come with us to Columbus to view this amazing space?!

Hollywood at Home is creating sensation!  This store has become the go-to destination for any update you can be looking for! Interior designer Peter Dunham's is providing one of a kind furniture designs and textiles for the home, he also works with an amazing team of textile designers for home decor like Lisa Fine and Carolina Irving.
